Leading accounting publication The International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) this week reviewed Advisors2Go, the iPhone app developed by leading London iPhone app developers YARG for MSI Global Alliance.
The folks at the IAB described it as a ‘nifty marketing tool for clients seeking an accounting or law firm’ and commented ‘The app is easy to navigate, well designed and contains the directory details of more than 250 firms across the world.’
The app was awarded 3.5 out of 5 stars, even outscoring apps from Big Four firms PWC and Deloitte! This is a great achievement we’re proud of at YARG and follows on the heels of the app being selected last week by Apple staff as a ‘New & Noteworthy’ app in the Business section of the App Store.
Advisors2Go is the first app of its kind to be launched by an international network or association of independent professional firms. The app is being used by MSI to improve communications between its professional members in 105 countries, and takes advantage of the powerful iPhone platform to enable members to email each other, view each others’ profiles, save the partners’ contact details to their iPhone address book and forward their valued MSI contacts to friends and clients. MSI also hopes to use the app to build awareness of its brand among business iPhone users and expects to make significant cost savings given the cost of printing thousands of directories.
The technology behind Advisors2Go is a great fit for any national or international membership organisation or multinational company that wants to give its members or employees an innovative way to carry their most important contacts around on their iPhone so they can access them while they are on the move.
At YARG we can help your firm or membership organisation to capitalise on mobile technology to achieve real results. We’ve been there and done it and can help you to get there faster. Versions for the BlackBerry and Android are coming soon.
